Technology
BioCheck PRO uses spectrophotometry technology to perform fast and accurate analyses. Spectrophotometry is a quantitative method that measures the absorption capacity of a material at different wavelengths of light, allowing the composition of a given medium to be accurately identified.
This technology is widely used in areas such as chemistry, pharmacology, biology, the environment, the food industry and, especially, in medicine.
In the medical field, spectrophotometry is applied to the analysis of blood, tissues and body fluids, aiding in the diagnosis of mineral imbalances, the presence of toxic metals, levels of oxidative stress and other markers relevant to health.

Heavy metal levels in the blood are subject to various environmental factors.

Hair analysis test

During this period, elements from the follicular cells and their blood supply are incorporated into the hair. However, the more toxic metals are incorporated into the cells of the organ, the less is excreted into the hair (i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder).
If the patient is a poor excretor, as seen in many individuals, especially the chronically ill, the toxic elements may appear underrepresented in the hair tissue compared to the Biocheck PRO.
Urine test (provocation)
Shows the extent to which the body can excrete metals. In a normal sample, almost nothing is excreted “The Excretory System”
When the body is challenged (e.g. EDTA, DMPS, DMSA), increased concentrations of metals are found, also known as a “challenge test”.
Very useful for testing the excretion capacity.
Note* – Chelating agents do not penetrate cell membranes. They determine the amount of metals in the extracellular space.
Spectroscopy
It shows the intracellular absorption of minerals, namely through tissue (including muscles and small capillaries), to a depth of 4 mm through the skin.
